Escape from the 9th Floor
A downloadable game
You wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, feeling like you can’t breath. There’s a black smoke filling the room and before you have much time to react, darkness takes you once more.
Later you wake up in an empty hallway in what looks like an old hotel, how did you get here? Why are you here?
F to interact with doors
WASD to move
SPACE to jump
Pay attention to the number on the keys you pick up since there will be a room somewhere with the same number.
Your goal is to open the elevator and leave the floor you're on.
We would appreciate if you took the time to fill out a survey after completing the game

About us
We are two students that made this game during a 5 week period for a course that we take at our university. We will both get the same degree if we finish, but one of us focuses on game design, while the other focuses more on art. Before starting the project we had no prior experience working in Unreal Engine and only the person with a focus on game design had sufficient skill in programming.
The main reason why we chose to work in Unreal Engine was that we liked the shaders, but it would also be good for both of us to say that we have experience working UE since all prior projects have been made in Unity, or another medium which doesn’t have any connections to designing games.

For a really short horror game it isnt bad, but I did wish there was a little more to it. Although I was abit confused to what was happening. Apart from that good job!

Nice game. I liked it, but it’s a bit short right now. Would like it, if you put some more rooms in the game :)
Really neat little experience you have here. Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to seeing if this grows any farther.
